This 1977 Godzilla book was part of a series of monster books from Crestwood House. Perhaps the series was the last vestige of the monster mania of the 50s and 60s when TV stations re-aired the classic monster movies to great reception. By the 70s and 80s, that classic monster trend had faded, but these books were quite popular among those too young for the original craze. Boy, nothing was sweeter than when those school book club orders came in!
